**🔹1] Prefer foods with sweet, sour, and salty tastes, oily, Vata-pacifying, and digestive-protective substances. (Charaka Samhita, Bhavaprakasha)**
**🔹2] Consume old barley, wheat, rice, black salt with moong soup, honey, and other easily digestible substances. (Charaka Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya)**
**🔹3] Ginger, black pepper, bay leaf, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, carom seeds, mustard, asafoetida, papaya, pear, yam, pointed gourd, ridge gourd, eggplant, drumstick, moong dal, horse gram, lemon, bitter gourd, punarnava, mint, amla, and basil are beneficial.**
**🔹4] Eat the next meal only when the previous one is fully digested and you feel light and hungry. (Ashtanga Hridaya etc.)**
**🔹5] Drink boiled and then cooled or lukewarm water. (Ashtanga Hridaya, Charaka Samhita)**
**🔹6] Stay in dry places and ensure there is no dampness in the house.**
**🔹7] Wear light, cotton clothes. White clothes are especially beneficial.**

**🔹1] Avoid leafy vegetables like spinach, cabbage, fenugreek, and foods that are heavy, Vata-increasing, and stale.**
**🔹2] Do not consume urad dal, chickpeas, pigeon peas, amaranth, potatoes, bananas, mangoes, sprouted grains, refined flour, sweets, cold drinks, ice cream, yogurt, and sattu.**
**🔹3] Avoid sleeping during the day, sitting or walking in the dew, getting wet in the rain, excessive exercise, and sexual activity. (Charaka Samhita etc.)**
**🔹4] Do not sleep under the open sky at night.**
**🔹5] After bathing or getting wet in the rain, do not wear wet clothes. Dry yourself thoroughly before wearing clothes.**
**🔹6] Do not roam with an exposed body.**
**🔹7] Avoid eating late at night.**
**🔹8] Do not stay awake late at night.**
